Welcome to my homepage! I am Archana Chutia, a research scholar in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at IIT Guwahati, currently pursuing advanced research in synthetic methodology and the synthesis of natural products and bioactive compounds. Under the guidance of my mentor, Prof. Anil Kumar Saikia, my work primarily focuses on developing innovative synthetic strategies and exploring the synthesis of heterocycles from vinyl silane precursors. Apart from this, we are also interested in intramolecular and intermolecular cyclization reactions of oxygen and nitrogen tethered alkyne/alkenol/thioalkenols. Through my research, I aim to contribute to the advancement of chemical synthesis and its applications in the fields of medicinal chemistry and bioorganic chemistry. I am excited to share my ongoing work and discoveries on this platform.
